Our old PayPal setup was designed for individuals not churches and was limited in function to just one way to give.

Zeffy will allow us to set up multiple options including special offerings, ticketing for events and even volunteer scheduling and peer-to-peer giving for individual and group fundraisers.

Yes, we still are using the ChurchTrac Management System with the giving setup.

However, if you do not have your bank account linked to our system and you are using a credit or debit card to give, we are being charged 2.2% per donation (even if you choose to cover the fee, it adds a small amount to your total donation but we still get charged the fees). By switching to Zeffy we will be able to save up to $500/year in donation fees.

We only recommend giving through Church Connect if you are willing to set up a link to your bank account because our fees are minimal ($0.25/donation).

1. 1. We take time during our Sunday Worship service to show our worship to God through our tithes and offerings. Grab a blue envelope available on the back of the pew in front of you and fill in your information before dropping it in the offering plate.

2. The Bible says to "Owe no one anything, except to love each other," (Rom 13:8, ESV), and that is what FBC Trenton has set our hearts to do! Our building is owned outright which gives us freedom to give more away. If you are in need of material goods we want to help in any way we can. Giving above your tithes to our Benevolence Fund will help us pay it forward to those in need.

4. First Baptist Church is involved in numerous mission initiatives around the entire world. Our heart truly goes out to the people of the world, including here in Trenton, and your gift can make a great difference in someone's life.

6. At times we will have special guest speakers or musicians visit and share with our congregation from God, or special circumstances where we are called on to support a person or family in need. If we choose to take up an offering to support these guests/families the money given is funneled through this account. Therefore, this fund is only used when a call to action is announced.

Tithes and offerings are vital to the health of First Baptist Church of Trenton and provide for all the areas of ministry and outreach.

We would love to see 100% PARTICIPATION in giving to the future of FBC Trenton. Just imagine what God can do with that!

That might mean being lavishly generous or simply sacrificial. What you give should be decided between you and God, and we just ask that you give in some way from a worshipful heart.

2 Corinthians 9:7-8 “Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.”
